Love this chopper. The gazelle is the first die cast model I ever had as a child. It was made by majorette. I like the view out the cockpit. Do panoramic. The exterior is also very pleasing to the eye, so aerodynamic thanks to it's teardrop or tadpole shape As a 10 year old kid then, the fenestron is a difficult word to pronounce and an even more alien engineering concept for me to grasp. A fun fact is that the "Blue Thunder" movie starring Roy Schieder was a highly modified Gazelle with rocket and missile pods. Manufactured by Aerospatiale, the Gazelle served with distinction during the Falklands war.

So it would seem that to do an unpowered descent (to auto rotate) I think it's called you would use the (collective?) push downward, and as you near the ground you would pull upward to slow the aircraft's descent to gently land?
